Week 7 - Platform Change & New Options
Welcome to the seventh edition of The Fellowship Newsletter.
Last week I wrote about my journey as a writer. This week is a little different...
I am super excited to tell you that I am moving the Newsletter to SubStack. It's a platform dedicated to Writers, Blogs, Newsletters, and Podcasts. The Fellowship is already hosted there and is fully up and running.
The SubStack platform is far superior to Podia for blogging and newsletters, and it was easy to see the value it would add to the user experience and the professional look and feel of the blog site.
I have posted the first six editions of The Fellowship on the blog, and they are available for you to use as a knowledge base.
Moving to SubStack allows me to offer subscriptions to the newsletter. This is an enormous change. Do not worry; I will not be moving to a subscription-only model. If you do not want to pay, you'll still receive great content in your inbox; it might not be so often.
The ability to offer exclusive premium content incentivises me to produce content that is full of value for you. It allows me to invest in more training. It allows me to focus on the important work. It will result in some superb knowledge transfer.
Alongside the weekly blogs, there will be exclusive live webinars, pre-recorded videos, and audio recordings of some of the blogs.

Why am I making this change?
The platform I currently use for the Learning Management System initially offered email services included in the hosting price. They have changed the pricing model, and I felt that moving The Fellowship to a platform designed specifically for newsletters would be a quality upgrade.
What does this change mean for you?
On Saturday, the 29th of Jul, 2023, I will move the subscriber database to SubStack. Everyone who is a subscriber on the moving date will be loaded into the new platform as a free subscriber, and you will receive the 8th Edition of the Newsletter the next day. You may receive a welcome email on Saturday.
